Moto g doesn't boot up

[AC Question]

Hi I have a moto g phone . I got a message that a new version of android is available to download so I did. But during installing something went wrong . Now the phone doesn't boot and donot pass the moto logo screen and turn off . I tried to hard reset but no success. It says device locked in the prompt screen . Can anyone help thanks.

So you were at least able to boot into recovery mode to do the factory reset? Can you still do that or is that not working anymore either?
