Samsung Centura spontaneous shut off

[AC Question]

I have a Samsung Galaxy Centura that I have had for about a year. Have not had any major problems with it other than the clock resetting which I think is a common problem. Last week, it started randomly and spontaneously turning off. Sometimes it take multiple tries ti turn back on, even after removing the battery and letting it sit. I don't use it much and only have a few apps loaded to it. Is there anything I can do to remedy this problem? Do I need a new battery or do I need to buy a new phone? Thank you for your help.

Try taking the battery out and spinning it on a flat, smooth surface. If it does, it's bulged and needs to be replaced.

Thank you for your help. The battery does not seem to have a bulge. Do you have any other advice as to what could be causing this or what I can do to fix this? Thanks.

The battery may still be failing, just not showing a visible sign.
