I own a Nexus 4. It was rooted and then unrooted (though I'm not sure how successful the unrooting was), It doesn't update (due to an 'error') and it now can't connect to my PC through the USB port (it charges and the 'connected as a media device' continuously appears and disappears).
If there are any ways to fix these issues I would like to do that. However I am really wondering if there is a way to take everything off my phone (and I mean everything) and then reinstall all the software? (oh and not a 'factory reset'- tried that and it isn't backing up so I have nothing)
