Pic sizes now much larger on same phone.

I noticed the pics (JPEG) on my S5 are now averaging about 4MB each. Until recently the average size was under 100KB. I tried changing picture size to 3264 X 1836 but it only changed the average pic size to 1.5 MB. How can I get back to the smaller JPEG size?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you talking about pics that you're taking with your camera? The camera settings ought to have an option to decrease the resolution or megapixel size down even further. Those pictures won't be as high quality, of course.
