Samsung Galaxy S5 camera issue

[AC Question]

I really like my camera, but cannot take check images for mobile deposit. Always get messages to retake photos no matter what I try. Any suggestions?

Welcome to Android Central! Which bank app are you using? It's more likely to be an app problem, not a camera problem. Make sure the bank app is up to date.

When taking a picture of the check, are the images clear, but it keeps telling you to retake them? Or is it coming out blurry?

Also, make sure you have enough free space around the edges of the check. The Bank of America app gets finicky if the image is too close up.
