I've looked at the various threads on encrypting a Samsung Galaxy S5, and I'm still not clear if I can use a PIN if I encrypt my phone.
When I start the encryption process I see a scary message that says, "Set an unlock password of at least 6 characters, containing at least 1 number."
When I click on Set screen lock type I see Confirm PIN.
Does that mean that I can use my PIN to unlock my phone and that I never have to enter in that six character password?
I have a related question about encrypting the SD card: If I encrypt my device and the SD card, do I need to enter in passwords twice to access my device and SD card?
Thanks.
