I did not know that the samsung galaxy s 5 camera comes with built in app effects.

When I open up my camera all it shows at the top is 3 icons, the flash option, the HDR option, and the front or rear facing camera option. When I click mode all it gives me is beauty face, auto, and panorama. Then on the other side of the camera button it shows the video taking icon. I just want to know how to get the built in app effects to better my camera. Is there somewhere I have to go in my camera settings, which I also can't find. please help.
