Why won't my Motorola Bravo take charge, even with a new battery?

My motorola bravo will not take a charge. Has a new battery to that is not it.

Worked great yesterday.

Did the old battery take a charge? Assuming that the new battery is in fact good, there may be a fault in the charger, the USB lead, or the phone's USB port, or elsewhere.
