How to unpair car hands free without a linked phone?

Hi everyone! Any ideas how to unpair my car's Nokia hands free?it was linked to my old phone which i sold and forgot to unpair so my new phone won't connect now... tried disconnecting car battery,pressing hands free buttons for various times but no luck!

Check with the dealer's service department. If they don't know, ask them if they can find out for you. A Bluetooth device that can only be permanently paired with a single device is one of the "7 BAD wonders of the world". What if the phone had gotten smashed? There has to be some way of unpairing the old phone, or pairing the new one even with the old one not available. If there isn't, let us know the brand of radio, so we can all not ever buy that company's products again.
