how to fix a SD card reader in a THL5000 smartphone

The SD card reader in my THL5000 smartphone has stopped working, when I go to storage setting the mount/unmount SD card selection is greyed out and the none of the microSD cards I have work in the phone( the external micro SD card does not register in the storage, the internal storage and the phone storage are working fine , how do I fix this? I have tried wiping cache partition in recovery,erasing phone storage and doing a factory reset and none of these have worked

The SD card port probably has to be replaced. Considering who THL probably is, good luck. It's almost impossible to get parts for these phones made by small unknown Chinese companies, unless they use standard parts (which is rare, since saving 2 cents per phone can mean the difference between profit and loss for these companies).
