When I set a reminder for an event, it reminds me an hour later than I set it for, why is it doing this?

When I set a reminder for an event, it reminds me an hour later than I set it for.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3, on Straight Talk. I live in southern Indiana, on EST, but close to CST. When I schedule an event on my calendar, I have to use CST for it to be on the correct time. When I set a reminder, it reminds me an hour late.

Check to make sure your time zone is set to automatic. See if that helps.

Otherwise, clear the cache for the app or service you are using to set the reminder, and see if that helps. Keep us posted.
