Google Photos is backing up incorrect videos from my device.

Google Photos is backing up incorrect videos from my device, such as videos I have for viewing (i.e. movies, TV shows), not videos I've taken with my phone (which I want it to backup). This is causing my Google Drive account to max out because of the TV shows on my device. I can't seem to find a workaround in settings which allows me to backup some videos. Any thoughts?

I have a Galaxy Note 4. I want to keep using Google Photos because of some of the auto features it offers, plus the 15 GB of free storage.

Check out this support page, under the "Back up photos from other apps" heading: https://support.google.com/plus/answer/1647509?hl=en. There are steps for turning backup for individual folders on or off.
