Why after upgrading to Android 5.1.11, my Nexus 6 tablet does not connect to wifi?

after upgrading to android 5.1.11, my nexus 6 tablet does not connect to wifi

I use Nexus 6 tablet over wifi connection. On being prompted to upgrade to android 5.1.11 version, I upgraded . Ever since, the settings recognises the wifi network, after password, it briefly conects, (say 30 secs or so) and then disconnects.

Try wiping the Cache Partition or even, if your personal data is backed up, a Factory Reset. Both can be helpful after a software update.
