Why won't my Galaxy S3 turn on?

galaxy s3 wont turn on

never had to turn my s3 off before, but had to a few tims this week. when i did the gray battery comes on and flashers all the time. when i try and turn it back on, it wont. i have to take battrey out for a few min's put it back in then turn it on. also iv even changed batterys and it still does it. any help please

Welcome to Android Central! Are those other batteries new, or otherwise only lightly used?

Check the battery contacts to make sure there isn't any debris or residue. Try also wiping the cache partition: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...ing-into-recovery-mode-galaxy-s2-s3-tab2.html

Hi and Thanks. The second battery is new and charged fully, iv read other post and all ready wiped the cache before i put post on. i forgot to say, some times when i do final get it turned on the green android man comes on, its not every time only once every so often.

It's sounding like a more serious problem with the hardware (or a totally corrupt firmware). You could try flashing the stock ROM, but I'm not sure how far you can get. http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...ide-samsung-how-flash-stock-rom-via-odin.html
