Question Brick-like Z fold 3

Somes times my Z fold 3 will not turn on when I open it up. On some occasions, I can close it and turn it on with the side button and then open it. Other times it will turn on and then go off. Then other times it won't come on at all. I can't do a reset because the power off is on the screen which doesn't turn on. If I leave it for a few minutes, it will turn on. Any ideas as to what is happening and how to correct it?
