does it matter if the screen gets cracked before you ship it back

wife cracked screen of new phone and is worried if she returns already damaged phone with a newly cracked screen if we will be penalized. .........trying to save 100+ dollers.?

If your going through your insurance then you will be charge the predetermined deductible for the device you own. Depending on the carrier and how advanced the device is it could range from 50-250 dollars.

Even if the insurance covers cracked screens the deductible still has to be paid to receive a like new device. If you were just looking to return the device I don't believe they'll let you. Good luck
