Why can't I install any apps from the Play Store website?

Can't install any apps from Play Store website

I've just noticed the install button on the Play Store website is just a small green box and I can't install any apps from the website.
The same happens in Chrome, Opera, Firefox and IE on two different PCs so it appears to be an account issue not browser.

I can install apps fine from the Android playstore and on the website I can re-install previous installed apps just not new apps.

Any ideas?

Any tbh
I first noticed it when I tried to install a camera app at first but then further investigation made me realise I can't install any app. unless it's a paid app.
The buy biutton seems to be ok, just not the install button on free apps.
I have an Xperia Z2 so I doubt it's a compatibility problem.

Very strange.

Just tried it from chrome on my phone, same problem.
I really can't install new apps from the play website unless they are previously installed or paid apps.

They reported a problem with Play Store. I'm sure it will be fixed soon. Have you tried from the PS app? They say the error just happens when using the Web version.

Luckily the app is fine so its not the end of the world.
Just annoying losing functionality I use quite a bit.
