I left my tablet at the gym and didn't realize until lunch. I went back and thankfully it was still there, however a woman in the locker room said a security guard just put the tablet on the locker room bench. The gym doesn't have wifi and none of my passwords are saved, but do I need to worry about spyware or anything else?

I honestly doubt in that time anyone would bother to install malicious software onto a tablet they just see lying around. The most likely action the perpetrator would execute is to take the tablet home, which didn't happen. If you want to check just in case, check out Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and maybe an Anti-virus software like Avast's or Comodo's on top of that.
