The question says it all, I know many methods and I use a few myself but I would like another opinion

I use alcohol wipes on my phone. It evaporates quickly and shouldn't do any harm to the phone.

The screen? A microfiber cloth. (I usually dampen the cloth with a mild eyeglass lens cleaner, so hard microscopic particles may wash off, rather than gouging the glass.) A removable back? Anything that will remove what's on it without damaging it. (So it depends on what's on it. Just normal daily dirt and finger oils? Warm water with a little liquid dish detergent should work.) If you're a smoker and what you want to clean is tobacco tar, alcohol.
