How to import Contacts from a Samsung Y to a S5?

Hi,
I have updated my Samsung Y to a Samsung S5.
Before doing so, I used the Kies app to back-up my Contacts I had in Samsung Y. Now, that I have the new mobile, I opened the Kies app but it doesn't recognize the S5. What can I do?
I have read something about recent versions Kies. I think mine is old (version 2.6.3.15045_4). Can it be the reason? Do I have to update?

Detail: I don't have the Y with me right now (or the next days either), nor the Contacts on a SD-card.

Welcome to the forums. If you can get the device back, I would try again with an updated version of Kies.
