Look at
https://www.google.com/chrome/devices/chromecast/apps.html If any of those apps would work for you, they can cast to a Chromecast device that's plugged into your TV (it has to have at least one free HDMI slot). There are wired devices too, but I find Chromecast to be more convenient - no wires for anyone to trip over. (You need wifi active in the area, but most people already do, so that's not a problem. And when you first set it up, it's going to have to connect to the internet to update its firmware, but that's not a problem for most people either.)
They're selling for about $30 now, but I've seen sales for $25 now and then.
(In the future, the
Chromecast app might work on the Maxx - then anything on the phone screen will cast to the TV.)
