Is there a way to link google photos or another photo galley application to facebook?

Currently when I press the attach photo button when posting/commenting on Facebook Mobile it goes straight to "camera roll". I want to be able to use the photos app or a similar app to upload my photos.

I don't mean making a status update. I mean when I want to add a picture to a comment on a specific post I want to be able to browse folders and select an image. Is this possible? Is there a way around it?
