Where can I find an app which converts email to tasks without syncing email?

I love the concept of IQTell, which allows you to convert your email to a task, and manage alongside your other tasks. However, in order to do this, you have to sync your email to their server. This would be completely against my company's policy.

Does anyone know of an app which will do the following:

* Manage tasks - by project, tag, next action, etc. (GTD-like)
* Access an email inbox on the device without syncing to an external server (sync to device is fine)
* In a simple action, "convert" an email to a task under a specifc project - i.e.:
- file it in a folder (on email server) for that project
- create a task with a link to that email in its folder, for opening later in the app via the task

Syncing tasks to an external server would probably be ok - they are just short headings, but not syncing the actual emails.

Any ideas? Otherwise, I am minded to develop it myself!

Email apps sync to the email server. If they don't, you don't get the email. If you have an email app that syncs to a server other than your email server, you have malware, not an email client.
