Help with getting rid of a possible virus? (Samsung Galaxy s6 Edge)

AC Question

So I got a nasty little pop-up this afternoon while i was messing around on my phone. It was a fake warning message telling me to press okay to restart my phone, with an android kitkat type text box. If this was just on my browser I wouldn't have been worried, but I was using an app. So I close out of the app and pull up my recent apps and I see something called "NetworkSystemProvider" with the preview window for it being that pop-up. I get a good look at it before the app crashes and stops working. So I pull up the application manager and I find two things. "NetworkServiceProvider UID" and "NetworkServiceProvider". They both have a SCARY amount of permissions and are listed as core system apps. I can't force stop or disable them either. I'm 95% percent sure this is a virus though and I'm not really sure what to do to get rid of it. avast anti-virus didn't find anything at all and I don't really want to root my android to delete it. Please help!
