my touchwiz has stopped on my samsung galaxy S4

my nan has a Samsung galaxy S4 and her touchwiz has recently stopped working, so we cannot move or delete any apps or contacts etc on the home screen pages. I hold my finger on app or contact and it comes up with a little white notification saying "touchwiz is not working" or something along the lines of this. what can I do to stop it?
