My new note edge screen just dims out randomly.

But lights up when I go into bright light. Have turned auto brightness off,let's see if that helps. Brightness us set to half. Hope it doesn't drain batt.any suggestions?

Welcome to Android Central! Auto Brightness relies on the ambient light sensor (which is right next to the front-facing camera), so any fluctuation in the light exposure there can impact your screen brightness. If it gets covered by anything, it may think you're in a dark room, and then dim the screen.
