Why does a com.facebook.katana run on my phone when I don't use Facebook/ Facebook messenger?

Some apps not close themselves while you are not using them unless your OS close it when there is a need for memory. You can use the battery doctor app which helps you to close all the apps that run on the background in one click.

Some apps not close themselves while you are not using them unless your OS close it when there is a need for memory. You can use the battery doctor app which helps you to close all the apps that run on the background in one click.

Get an app like GSam battery monitor instead, it gives more details on what the apps are in % for battery life where as the battery dr (and other saving apps) are a waste.

If you don't use Facebook app a suggestion is to uninstall it.
