I tried to cancel an installion on my ASUS computer, it will not work?

So I was installing Microsoft Office on my computer, but it remained at "Time Remaining: 0 seconds" for a long time so I decided to just cancel the installation. But it will not cancel. I tried going into Control Panel and uninstalling it but that wasn't working either. Help please?
