Samsung Note 4, fingerprint option doesn't appear?

Samsung Note 4 fingerprint option no longer appears. It's now asking for a backup password. How else can I unlock the screen if I don't remember the backup password?

Restart the phone and the fingerprint option should reappear.

Three options to get into the phone...
1) Android Device Manager
2) Samsung Find my mobile
3) Factory reset... you will lose everything if you didn't back anything up.
