Hi everyone,
I want to share an issue I'm having with my Moto's fingerprint sensor in case anyone could help me. What happens is that sometimes the sensor stops working and I can't tell if it's completely random or if something triggers it.
When this happens, I've noticed that the option to add a new fingerprint isn't available inside of the Settings app. Some apps like Outlook don't prompt me for my fingerprint even when they should. It's like if is the fingerprint scanner gets 'disconnected' in some way. My University requires me to add a fingerprint to Outlook and other apps that have my Uni account added to them. Just wanted to mention it, maybe it has something to do with the whole problem. But I doubt it.
To get the sensor working again, I have to restart the phone and it works perfectly after that.
I have the latest version of Android - 13. The same happened in Android 12.
I don't use any kind of Launchers.
Has anyone else had a similar issue?
