Is there still hope for my device?

So I've put my tablet through a lot lately for example I've downloaded an apk installer (if that's how it's spelled) but I'm not sure if that's what caused it's demise, I've also been to sites rated 18+ and installed a cleaner in hopes that it would keep it safe, today though after a couple weeks of having problems it finally gave up and shut down (the device became glitchy and when I tried to turn it off it wouldn't turn on anymore just blank) I did my usual and plugged it up because after that glitchy thing happens the battery would instantly become low. When I turned it on what I came upon was a screen with the Android screen and then it switched to the android symbol with an exclamation mark coming out of it, I've tried restoring it from there, erasing the cache and anything else I thought would work, I would like to know if there is still a little ray of hope to have it turn on. I don't care much for the memory or saving anything I just want it to work again

You could try a factory reset from recovery. The right instructions will depend on which device you have.
