Nexus 5 Won't Turn ON, Only Red Flashing Light

[AC Question]

I lost my phone a month ago.

Today I found it and I left it charging for about 8+ hours.

My Nexus 5 won't turn ON, it only shows a red LED that flashes every 1 second (right above where you plug in the charger)

I've tried holding the power button and volume +/-, no result neither.
It doesn't show the battery icon tho.

Welcome to Android Central! The battery might have drained to true zero, which is irreversibly dead for a lithium battery. You could look into replacing the battery.
