Randomly cannot send or receive text messages - Verizon, LG G4

[AC Question]

Last night, my phone was sending and receiving a large amounts of texts from different people (work). But all of the sudden, I stopped receiving messages, and the ability to send them. I use Textra as a texting app, and it says 'Failed, tap to resend', after switching to the default messaging app, it still doesnt work. I tried restart, airplane mode, resetting of the sim (physically), but to no avail. What should I do?
