My HTC One S didn't boot anymore. Can I do some kind of backup before a Factory Reset

Hi,

My HTC One S refuse to boot anymore and I don't have any backup of my pictures or contacts.

I'm able to boot it to the Fastboot, Recovery, Factory Reset, Clear Storage, Simlock, Image CRC and Show Barcode menu.

Is there a way from here to do a backup before a Factory Reset? or a Clear Storage? I don't even know with one is better.

Welcome to Android Central! If that data is on Internal Storage, then you can't access it unless you can get the phone to boot normally. Are your contacts saved to your Google account? If so, they're safe in your Google Contacts in the cloud, because they sync automatically. But if they're saved only to the local Phone account, then they're lost.

This is also why it's important to backup your photos (and other important data) regularly to your computer hard drive, or turn on Google Photos Auto Backup.
