How to fix Samsung note 4 “Updating contact list” problem after update since the contact list is not showing and on the screen its shows has updating

Hi,
I had the same problem yesterday after a system update in Galaxy Note 4.
My contact list reappeared after I disabled Whatsapp.
I suggest you to disable any third part software that uses your contact list.
Later I re-enabled the Whatsapp and the problem was solved.
