Why is my address being given out?

I just met a new female friend and decided to give her my number as she goes to save it my full home address automatically loads into her phone. I don't like that. How do i stop it? Does that happen with everyone? i dont want everyone I give my number to, to have my address please help me out

Hi, welcome to the forums! How did you give her your phone number? Did you share it as a contact through some messaging app? If so, that information could be saved in your own contact page and you are sharing all data included there.

As mentioned above, or if you shared your name card (.vcf file) that has your address info assigned to it, it will get transfered with any other data saved to it.
