My android tv box says that I am connected but I am not... Tried a bunch of things and I need help?

I plugged my new box in and it worked then after we upgraded or wireless service it just won't work? Says that I am connected but it's not so I can't update anything.

Welcome to Android Central! So it's not connecting to your home wi-fi network? Have you already tried rebooting your router by unplugging its power for 10 seconds, then plugging it back in?
