htc m8- hotspot-no internet access

im from australia and i have a htc m8 im with telstra prepaid i am wanting to connect to my Xbox one and iPad via hot-spot I can connect but I can't access the internet all the previous phones I have had I have had no problem with how do I resolve this

Does Telstra now charge extra for a tethered account? Some US carriers have started doing that. They just don't handle the connection for any devices connected to the hotspot. There's nothing you can do buy pay their fee.
