Can I use Qpair with LG G pad and Samsung phone?

[AC Question]

I have an LG G Pad (V410) on T-Mobile and a Samsung Note 4, also T-Mobile. QPair is installed on both, but when I try to start the application, the Samsung gets a message that it is unable to connect.

Is there a fix, or are Samsung phones just "out of the loop"?
