Why can't I access my phone files on my computer?

I have plugged in my phone into my computer (my computer is running Windows 10). I have made sure that USB debugging is on, and that MTP is checked. However, when I access My PC and try to click on my phone (which is called XT1254, if that helps anybody), nothing happens. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Not even a loading icon. It just ignores my double click completely. Any idea why this is happening? Thanks in advance.

Also, it's a motorola droid turbo. Forgot to include that.
