Sometimes phone dials a stored digit twice

A

AC Question

I have saved a phone number along with extension (i.e., phone number, three commas and extension). Sometimes phone dials the whole number correctly, other times, it dials an extension digits twice (e.g., instead of 9781 it dials 97881).

Welcome to Android Central!

Are you using the pause option when putting in the commas or are you just putting in commas?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Open the Phone app, tap Menu>Settings>Call Settings, and see if you have a DTMF option. If so, see if it helps to change the DTMF length to Short.
