no service on a phone AT&T phone from swappa

I ordered an HTC phone from swappa, and it works fine but I cant get any service. I put the sim card in and paid the bill( its a GO sim card) and I don't get any service at all. Any ideas on what I could do??

Go isn't rated, and seems to be limited to a single city - not someone you want to deal with, and not someone you can get information on. If the phone has radios for TMobile, and Go uses AT&T, you won't connect, since the 2 don't have any common frequencies on LTE. (You should still connect on 2G - voice and no-MMS texting.) Either try to find out which carrier Go uses (and get a SIM card for that carrier) or return the phone for a refund.
