How do i retrive documents from clipboard?

After finally coming upon a much needed piece of information I saved it, only to find it was sent to clipboard!?!?? Where is this ?? Also as a backup sent it to drive!! No document there either!! Help !!

If you haven't copy and paste any thing since then, just long press and hit paste in a text field.

If you have used copy and paste since then, not too good.

Hopefully you have a Samsung because they are thr only devices that I know of that gives you access to the clipboard history. This is found by long pressing either the gear (setting) icon or the ttt (microphone) icon on the keyboatd. You should see a little icon in the sub-menu that looks similar to a clipboard. By clicking on this, this gives you the last 15 -20 copied items.

All other devices do not have this built in from factory. You can get apps to do this, but I'm not sure if they can access clipboard posts before the app was installed.
