Clearing a Nexus 5X phone from any sign of Project Fi

Hello,

I've just canceled my Project Fi service and would like to reset my Nexus 5X phone to its factory default without any residues of Project Fi.

How would you recommend doing this.

Change the SIM, remove any signal checker apps (if you installed any and don't want them anymore) and disable the Fi app. The Fi app is a factory app and can't be uninstalled, it can only be disabled.
