getting notificationsto upgrade OS from T-Mobile on my unlocked galaxy with cricket wireless service

I have been on Cricket for about 4 months with my unlocked S5 and I am getting notifications (that wont go away) to upgrade the OS. I have tried to stop the notifications in application settings for the T-Mobile My Account (which I can't seem to remove. How do I stop this? Thanks!

You have to root the phone, then disable the updater app.
