Just bought a Huawei P8 lite yesterday - my first ever smartphone. It's driving me crazy, because:
1. After hitting "slide to unlock", I can't get past 4 functions - recorder, calculator, torch & video - none of which I want. I just go round in circles. How do I get to all the icons I did have yesterday?
2. There is a green ligh in the top left hand corner of the screen flashing on-and-off. what's that about?
3. How long does it take for a new SIM to kick in? My contact data was transfeered to the new phone (though not the new SIM) by the store, but, whereas the old handset SIM still works, the new one does not - and it's been nearly 24 hrs since I purchased. Also, the contact details are formatted totally differently to the way they were on the old SIM, so I can't find names I want.
Yesterday, I did manage to sort some things on this new device; last night / today, it's all gone to Hell . . . . and I can't get past a screen with 4 functions I don't even want.
