Why can't I reinstall fb without it telling me AGAIN "unfortunately fb has stopped"?

After spending 2days with the pop up "unfortunately fb has stopped " coming up on every screen... I finally UNinstalled the fb app (which was already the UPDATED one) but when i went to play store and REinstalled fb (it did allow me to download ) I pressed "open" and what do u think i saw...the same pop up!! Btw, about 1 wk ago i did UPDATE SYSTEM FILES as it kept telling me it was time. PLEASE HELP...I need my fb!

Before uninstalling it this time clear the cache and data from the app manager, then uninstall and restart the device. After that try to install it again.
