Skype boots me back to main screen when I try to load it up. (Galaxy S5, Marshmellow)

As the title says. Every time I try to load up skype it boots back to the main screen on my Galaxy S5 after showing my contacts for a split second, sometimes not at all. It doesn't crash. Because I can go into my active apps and try to load it from there too but it does the same thing. I've currently tried to just reset the cache on skype. And then I've reset the cache, data, uninstalled, turned off the phone and then reinstalled. Nothing fixes it. It just resets back to the main menu each time. My skype is currently on 7.11.0.559. The latest version that the Google Play Store gives me.
