I bought a US Unlocked Samsung S7 Edge. I'm using it on a MVNO (Sprint). Every time I boot the phone it tries to update using "Hands Free Activation".
From what I've read, this isn't a "Sprint" version of the S7 Edge, and therefore isn't a MEID on their network. That is why I'm having issues with the "Hands Free Activation".
In order to stop my phone from rebooting in a loop, I have to kill the "Hands Free Activation" by "Force Stopping" it. But I think this prevents the phone from doing a PRL Update.
I have issues at home with service because I cannot send out MMS Messages. This wasn't a problem with previous phones on the MVNO. I think it has something to do with the PRL Update not working.
I'm at a loss. I don't know who else to turn to. Any help is much appreciated.
