forgot my password

[AC Question]

l forgot my password on a samsung GT-I9060I and after 200 attempts l still do not see the reset using google account option. l do not have a samsung account for the "find my device". Is there a way l can reset my device without wiping any data?

On your PC go to Android Device Manager, sign in, and reset the password. If that doesn't work, then you'll need to factory reset the phone. No other options.

This is why you need a password safe that you can access from another device. (I use Keepass2Android Password Safe, with the data file on Google Drive.)
